110 Days To Go!

Alexandra & Araz

What began as a simple connection through work and a mutual friend slowly grew into something neither of them expected. They started out with a business plan in hand, but every time they met, no business ever seemed to get done. Instead, they would talk and laugh for hours, the meetings ending with the same playful promise, “Okay, next time, we really need to work though.”

For two years they built a friendship, celebrating birthdays, sharing conversations, and getting to know one another on a deeper level. One of the first signs of what was to come appeared on Araz’s birthday, when Ali met Ahoo, his mom, for the first time. The two immediately connected, laughing and dancing, balancing shots on their foreheads in celebration. Ahoo turned to Araz that night and said, “Why don’t you date her? She clearly likes you, and you like her.”

A year later, fate gave them the nudge they needed. Ali was in Las Vegas with friends when Araz, traveling for work, made a last-minute detour to join for his birthday. That night they danced until the sun came up, and somewhere between the music and the sunrise, their love story officially began.

Only a month later, Ali faced a big moment, inviting Araz to a family wedding where he would meet nearly everyone important in her life all at once. Nervous, she called her big brother Michael for advice. With his encouragement, she asked Araz to come. From the car ride with her family to the wedding celebration itself, he fit right in, laughing, connecting, and winning everyone over without effort. Any worries melted away.

Soon after, they moved in together. Ali’s mom had warned Araz not to buy her a cat, haha, but he didn’t just bring home one, he brought two, Enzo and Phantom. In no time at all, their little family of four was complete, tucked happily into their cozy bubble.

Over the years they shared countless adventures, travels, glasses of wine, and quiet nights at home. Then, three years later, Araz planned a trip to Santa Barbara, a place Ali had always dreamed of visiting. From the Rosewood to San Ysidro Ranch, every detail was thought out. In a private wine cellar, Araz asked the question that would change their lives forever. Afterward, they returned to a room filled with flowers, photos from their journey, and little notes, each one a reason why he loved Ali. It was thoughtful, surprising, and filled with love.

Their relationship has always been soft, full of laughter, and grounded in endless support. From friendship to family, from dreams to reality, their story is a reminder that sometimes love doesn’t arrive in one sweeping moment, it grows slowly, quietly, until one day you look around and realize it’s been there all along.
